With Clasen Home, you are buying directly from the manufacturer. Competitors like Williams Sonoma Home, Restoration Hardware, Horchow, and others are buying from another company and then marking up the price before they sell it to you. Can you make me a taller headboard
or a bigger bench?
We can customize the heights of some of our products. Most of our headboards
can be made taller. Upcharges apply and the yardage you'll need to
provide if using your own fabric will vary. Please call Customer Service and
we'll be happy to discuss your needs and help you place your order.
How do I attach the headboard to my bed frame? Do I need to buy parts?
The bolts and instructions for attaching your new
headboard to your standard bed frame will be included with your headboard.
Can I place my order over the phone? I'd
rather not enter my credit card number on the internet.
Yes, you can place orders over the phone during regular business hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm Central time, Monday – Friday. Alternatively, you can print out our order form and mail it to Clasen Home, or fax it to us at (608) 224-1607. Our mailing address is 5010 World Dairy Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53718.
How do I send you my own fabric?
Fold fabric neatly and secure any loose items such as twist cord or buttons. Mark the front side of the fabric clearly. Label fabric with your name and the product being ordered ("Jennifer Smith - Twin Headboard"). Seal in plastic bag. Place in a box with your completed "Your Own Fabric" form. Include a copy of your order confirmation if you are able. Mail to Clasen Home, 5010 World Dairy Dr., Madison, WI 53718. We strongly recommend that you use a shipper with a tracking number (for example, UPS or FedEx Ground). For your safety, insure your fabric shipment.
Will I be charged sales tax?
We include sales tax for residents of Wisconsin.
Can I purchase fabric from
you?
Yes! Our fabrics are available for purchase (full-yard increments
only) for draperies, pillows or other accessories. The prices range
from $15/yd. to $45/yd. depending on the fabric. Minimum order
is one yard. Please ask our Customer Service Representatives for
details.
When will my credit card be charged?
If ordering via our website, the funds will be authorized immediately and your credit card will be charged within seven calendar
days of the day the order is placed. For phone or fax orders, this time may
vary.
How long do I have to cancel
my order after placing it?
You may cancel your
order within 24 hours of placing it. Please do so by calling us
at 800-366-4443. Do not e-mail cancellations.
How do I follow-up on an order?
To inquire about an order already placed, please call our Customer

Who delivers Clasen Home furniture?
The method of delivery (UPS or freight)
can be found in the product's description. UPS delivers ottomans, benches,
Parson's chairs and Slipper chairs when ordered individually. UPS will
deliver to your door but depending on your location, they may or may
not leave packages unattended. A signature is not required. All other
chair styles and our headboards ship via ABF freight. ABF freight will
call you to set up a delivery date/time. ABF freight requires a signature
at time of delivery. Please note that the delivery service representative
cannot assist you with upacking or setup of your furniture.
Can I return my custom headboard/chair/ottoman?
We guarantee your satisfaction and want you to be thrilled with your
purchase. Each Clasen Home product is custom-made for our customers.
As such, these are unique pieces of furniture and all sales are final.
If our products arrived damaged or defective please call us immediately
at 800-366-4443 so we may correct the situation. Please inspect your
products immediately upon delivery for any damage. Any damage
must be noted on the delivery receipt at time of delivery. Clasen
Home reserves the right to refuse refunds based on customer error. Measure
your home's entrances and the space for which the product is intended
before ordering. When using Clasen Home fabrics, we
strongly advise you to request free fabric swatches before placing your
order.
How do I clean my custom
headboard/chair/ottoman? Clasen Home recommends professional
cleaning for all of our products. Consult an upholstery cleaner near you.
You don't offer any leather products
- can I send you leather?
Clasen Home will not work
with leather. We encourage you to explore the animal-friendly world of
synthetic leather.
I see you listed in the phone book under
reupholstery - can I send you a chair to be reupholstered?
We do not accept reupholstery
work sent via delivery service at this time. We do accept local drop-offs for
reupholstery. We evaulate and price each job on a case-by-case basis.
I want Clasen Home to make an ottoman
to match my existing chair - can you help me find the fabric I need to
send you?

Do you have a printed catalog?
Our last printed catalog was distributed in 2001. Since, then, we've relied on
the internet to showcase our products. Prices shown in our last print catalog
may have changed. Prices on our website are current. We reserve the right to
