1 - OBTAIN FABRIC YARDAGE REQUIREMENTS from the product's yardage chart (located on every product page).

Please call customer service to discuss your fabric ideas at 800-366-4443 BEFORE PURCHASING:
If you are using twist cord in place of fabric welt on your product.
If you are using a delicate or very lightweight fabric such as silk.
If you are using a fabric with a very large repeat.
If you are choosing a treatment such as tufting or channeling for your product.
If you have any other questions about yardage, pattern matching, etc.

2 - PURCHASE YOUR FABRICS AND TRIMS. You do not need to supply the hardware for fabric covered buttons, we have those in stock. Twist cord needs to have lip for sewing. Any leftover fabric will be returned to you. If you have any questions about yardage, please call Customer Service at 800-366-4443. We are here Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm


3 - COMPLETE THE "YOUR OWN FABRIC" FORM. This form is located on every product page. It tells our team of upholsterers and sewers how you would like your custom fabrics and trims applied to the furniture.


4 - PLACE YOUR ONLINE ORDER.

• Select the size of the product, if applicable.
• Select "none" for the body fabric choices.
• Select "Yes" for "I will supply my own fabric."
• Select any treatments you want.
• If you are providing additional trim, contrast or skirt band fabrics, select "I am sending my own fabric" for those options. Product options vary.
• Review your selections and add to cart and proceed with checkout. Orders are processed within 7 calendar days.
• You will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation and a personal confirmation from our Customer Service staff.
  

5 - SEND YOUR MATERIALS. Fold fabric neatly and secure any loose items such as twist cord or buttons. Mark the front side of the fabric clearly. Label fabric with your name and the product being ordered ("Jennifer Smith - Twin Headboard"). Seal in plastic bag. Place in a box with your completed "Your Own Fabric" form. Include a copy of your order confirmation if you are able. Mail to Clasen Home, 5010 World Dairy Dr., Madison, WI 53718. We strongly recommend that you use a shipper with a tracking number (for example, UPS or FedEx Ground).  For your safety, insure your fabric shipment. 


6 - Work begins when we receive your fabric and "Your Own Fabric" Form; your product will ship within 4 weeks of that date.
